Our story
Hi, I'm Chelsea and that handsome guy is my husband Chris. We got married in our favorite place in the world, June Lake California. We live in Huntington Beach and I started this blog as a way to deal with our struggle with infertility. Our road to parenthood was not what we expected. It took us two years of blood, sweat, tears and a lot of love before we found our Happily Ever After. I wanted to create a safe space where I could talk openly about how that journey shaped who I am and open up the discourse for those still struggling through the process. It took us two years, three IUIs, countless tests, and one round of IVF before we met our beautiful boy. His name is Benton. If you follow along you will be seeing tons of his sweet face as well.

The reason behind this blog was my need to feel connected to other people who were battling infertility. It is an isolating journey that few people understand. I hope that my posts and our story helps people feel less alone. Success stories might be hard for some but they always gave me hope and reminded me to keep my eye on the prize. That struggle is worth it, every second of it. As soon as that sweet babe in your arms your heart will understand. Sometimes life doesn't happen on your time table and learning to trust that tide is the hardest part. Now that I am a mom I love to chat about that too! Just because you go through infertility doesn't mean you don't still face the normal highs and lows of motherhood.
