Exploring Anzo Borrengo

I had the idea for this blog and Etsy shop last year after my dad passed suddenly. I realize that the only things that comforted me were hiking, taking photos, and watching movies. Although the activities existed in very different worlds, they seemed to connect and inspire me in a million ways. I decided it was time for a creative project, something to help me cope with the growing changes of life. A place for me to pour some positive energy into and an excuse for more adventures!

After a tough week we did something we have always talked about but never seemed to do, we hopped in the car and drove. We called a local hotel, super last minute and booked a room. (my next post will show you guys the gorgeous hotel spot we stumbled upon!) It was amazing! Not having a plan, just exploring, stopping for photos all along the way. If you haven't had a spontaneous road trip recently, I highly encourage it!

Here are some of my favorite snaps from that trip. They will always be special to me because I know how down we were feeling and how much we needed that little getaway. Plus, if you haven't been to Anzo Borrengo State Park, you are really missing out. It is pretty breathtaking.

Thanks for stopping by!
